  8. The fish(es) on the wall that I don’t know for sure what they mean except to say that I take them as some sort of vague, half-smiling encouragement…

  11. Signs in general…
  12. And that signs can be physical things you put on a wall or a subway or a bus but they can also be just things that happen (and also things that don’t happen) in your life or else something someone says in passing. Etc…
  13. But mostly just having the sort of brain that works that way, that makes connections, even though sometimes those “connections” are spurious at best…

  24. That crazy bottle of hippie soap I bought that’s got all those words/quotes on it that are pretty fugue-like. [Note: the soap is liquid soap (hence the bottle), not a big ol’ cake of the stuff, and I kept trying to attach that particular adjective — liquid — to “hippie soap” but it always seemed to belong more to the “hippie” part of the equation. Liquid hippie soap. Hippie liquid soap. Just didn’t sound right. So You know. I left it off. FYI…]…
